How do I add a website link to an email?
.............................
Excellent question!
When you are starting out with something new, you might have questions that you're a bit embarrassed to ask - but once you know the answers, you'll be really pleased at how easy it is.
When you are browsing the internet, you'll notice the website name changes at the top of each page you visit. This is called the typing line, or the URL line, and you can type into this text box or over any text which is already there.
For example, you might want to read the news - so just type: cnn.com -- and press the Return key, and you'll be taken to CNN news website. Here's a quick video to show you what I mean:
. .
After you highlight the webpage link at the top of the page:
- COPY it with Edit/Copy
- go to your email program and open a New email
- type your message and select Edit/Paste and the link will appear in your email
- address your email (select who it is to go to) and send it
- you're done!
- Pretty easy isn't it?
I hope this has been helpful, let me know if you have other questions.
Cheers
